The Flexible Packaging Association promotes a general financial and economic understanding of the flexible packaging industry by gathering, analyzing and disseminating industry and economic information that monitors the health and performance of key industry attributes.
FPA's Financial Benchmarking Survey Program
Converter Member Reports
The Flexible Packaging Association also conducts a Financial Benchmarking Survey Program which requires converter members to complete and return the requisite surveys to receive the final report information. This program includes the Annual Cost Earnings Report and U.S. Flexible Packaging Industry Compensation Report, which is conducted every three (3) years.
The Annual Cost Earnings Report for Participating FPA Converters
Published annually, the Cost Earnings Report examines key operating factors, including cost component information on labor; sales, general, and administrative expenses; materials and other manufacturing; receivables aging; capital spending; inventory turnover; and delivery lead times.

The U.S. Flexible Packaging Industry Compensation Report for Participating FPA Converters
The report provides information on flexible packaging industry salary levels and hourly rates by company/plant size, region, and primary manufacturing operations, and is published every three (3) years.
