FPA Signs Coalition Comments Regarding EPA’s Proposed Changes to Reporting Requirements for PFAS and Supplier Notifications for Chemicals of Special Concern; Community Right-to-Know Toxic Chemical Release Reporting
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and our coalition of companies and trade associations appreciate the opportunity to comment on the Changes to Reporting Requirements for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances and to Supplier Notifications for Chemicals of Special Concern; Community Right-to-Know Toxic Chemical Release Reporting (“Proposed Rule”). The coalition represented in this letter includes businesses in many areas of the broad economy that are potentially impacted by this Proposed Rule, including aerospace, agriculture, automotive, construction, electronics, energy, mining, health care, telecommunications, and textiles, and other community stakeholders (e.g., first responder services, water and wastewater utilities, and waste management facilities). The Coalition’s members include members with facilities subject to the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (“EPCRA”) reporting requirements under the Toxics Release Inventory (“TRI”) Program.
